Fãs da Dr. Martens encontraram outro motivo para investir em um novo par das botas que duram uma vida inteira: na última quinta-feira, a marca de sapatos inglesa lançou um serviço sob medida, exclusivamente na Dover Street Market. Por duas semanas você pode ter seu pé medido e escolher o couro, solado, costura, alças e forro entre as opções disponíveis. Seu par de botas será feito na fábrica inglesa da marca, em Northamptonshire, e depois de cinco semanas estará pronto para a prova final. Os preços partem de £250 para os modelos mais simples.

Depois da DSM, a pop-up store viaja para diferentes cidades ao redor do mundo, mas rumores dizem que o serviço estará disponível online ano que vem.

Dr Martens fans have found a reason to invest on a new pair of the ever lasting pair of boots. Last thursday, the British footwear brand launched a brand new bespoke service exclusively in Dover Street Market. For two weeks you you can have your feet measured up and take your pick from leathers, sole, stitching, heel loops and lining on offer. Your order will be dispatched up to the Cobbs Lane factory in Northamptonshire and around five weeks later your finished boots will be ready for your final fitting. The most basic boot starts from around £250.

After this two weeks, the pop-up will head off to a selection of different locations across the globe, but rumour has it that the service will be going online next year.

In the mood for mud

O festival de Glastonbury é o maior festival de música do país que deu ao mundo Beatles, David Bowie e Stone Roses – muito provavelmente o mais importante do mundo. Glastonbury acontece quase anualmente desde 1970 no sudoeste da Inglaterra, em uma fazenda próxima da cidade que dá o nome ao evento.

Em 2011 o festival teve 60 palcos, e pelo legendário Pyramid stage já passaram nomes como The Cure, Primal Scream, Neil Young e Bob Dylan.
