Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the First Psychedelic Era é uma antologia de singles de rock de garagem Americano dos anos 60. O álbum duplo original foi lançado em LP pela Elektra em 1972, com nota de de Lenny Kaye, futuro guitarrista de Patti Smith, fazendo uma das primeiras menções ao termo “punk rock”. No penúltimo ano da década de 90, a Rhino Records trouxe uma versão expandida da compilação, adicionando três discos à caixa em que grande parte dos colecionadores de discos quiz colocar as mãos.

Quase trinta anos depois, em 2001, a Rhino lançou Nuggets II: Original Artyfacts From the British Empire and Beyond, 1964-1969, uma caixa com quatro discos focando bandas de outras partes do mundo. Incluídos no álbum estão os dois singles abaixo: o primeiro do músico mais tarde conhecido como David Bowie, e o último de Marc Bolan, futuro membro da banda T. Rex.

Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the First Psychedelic Era is an anthology of American sixties’ garage-rock singles. The original double album was released on LP by Elektra in 1972 with liner notes by Lenny Kaye, the future guitarist of Patti Smith, that contained one of the first uses of the term “punk rock”. In 1998, Rhino Record added three discs to the box set that most of the record collectors wanted to put their hands on.

Almost thirty years, later Rhino released Nuggets II: Original Artyfacts From the British Empire and Beyond, 1964-1969, a four-disc box set that shifted its focus to the rest of the world. Included in the album are the two singles below: the first by musician later known as David Bowie, and the latter by Marc Bolan, a future member of T. Rex.
