Havaianas Wellies

A Havaianas, famosa por seus chinelos coloridos que frequentemente levam a bandeira do Brasil, criou uma coleção de oito botas de borracha, chamadas na Inglaterra de Wellingtons por terem sido usadas e popularizadas por Arthur Wellesley, primeiro Duque de Wellington, tornando-se um estilo fashion adotado pela aristocracia britânica no início do século 19.

As Havaianas Wellies tem como tema os festivais ingleses, as cores e estampas são vibrantes e a sola é a mesma das utilizadas nos chinelos. Estarão disponíveis com exclusividade na Selfridges por duas semanas a partir de hoje, na loja pop-up da marca na impressionante Shoe Gallery.

Havaianas, famous for its multi-coloured flip-flops that often bring the Brazilian flag, has created a collection of eight wellies, first worn and popularised by Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington. This novel “Wellington” boot then became a fashionable style emulated by the British aristocracy in the early 19th century.

The festival-themed Havaianas Wellies come in vibrant colours and patterns, all featuring the brand’s signature rice patterned sole and will be available exclusively in Selfridges for two weeks from today, at the pop-up shop in the amazing Shoe Galleries.
